Connect in under a minute
SNAPFANS MCP is a remote server over the Streamable HTTP transport. Two ways to connect: paste an MCP key (simplest — no browser), or use the OAuth browser flow.
Connect with a key Recommended
Get your key from the purchase DM, or generate one in your dashboard → Connection (“Generate key”). Then paste it into your client — no browser sign-in.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http snapfans https://mcp.snapital.shop/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer smcp_YOUR_KEY"
Cursor
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"snapfans": {
"url": "https://mcp.snapital.shop/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer smcp_YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}A key binds to the first client that uses it; rotate it in the dashboard to move to a new device.
Or connect with OAuth (browser)
Prefer the standard IDE flow? Point your client at the server URL and it authorizes in your browser once.
https://mcp.snapital.shop/mcp
Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http snapfans https://mcp.snapital.shop/mcp (no header) opens a browser to authorize. Cursor: the same mcpServers entry without the headers line. Any Streamable-HTTP + OAuth client works — it fetches /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource and runs authorization-code + PKCE. See Authentication.
First call
Once connected, ask your agent something the knowledge base can answer:
"Search the docs for Snapchat web login." "How do I set up API login for Snapchat Android?" "List the documented endpoints for snapchat."
The agent will call search_docs / ask_docs / list_endpoints and return cited documentation. See the full tool reference.
